Luke Chamberlayne - RIP
Gloucester & Cotswold MCC and all in ACU Western will want to send their condolences to the family of Luke Chamberlayne, who sadly passed away earlier this month.
Luke was a big supporter of trials in general in ACU Western, he was willing to help riders, and clubs who needed an extra pair of hands, and of course was a landowner who willingly gave his land for events.
Many excellent G&C events were staged at the family farm in Maisemore. Luke rode Centre trials at the highest Expert level, giving his all but he always rode with a smile on his face and knew how to enjoy himself.
His stoicism and determination to overcome the effects of a serious injury around 15 years ago were an example to us all. His untimely passing will sadden everyone who came in to contact with him, such was his positive outlook throughout his life. Our thoughts are with the Chamberlayne family at this very sad time.
