Kath Workman - RIP
Everyone in the centre and the wider trials world will be saddened to hear of the news of Kath Workman's passing on April 14, 2025 after a period of illness.
Kath was a great servant of trials, supporting her son Steve on the local and national scene, and with her late husband Rob was a major part of the Zona 1 MCC trials events and practice venue team.
She was a winner of the ACU Western Centre Dick Wyatt Award for the non-riding contribution to the centre in 2015, an award which was well deserved. If you rode at the Zona 1 practice ground or entered one of the club's trials, Kath and Rob were a key part of making that possible.
Kath was in the thoughts of everyone at April's monthly board meeting, where she and Rob were regular delegates for many years, supporting trials events in all the unsung roles to ensure they ran smoothly.
The thoughts of us all are no doubt with Steve and his sister Jane and their families at this very sad time.
