Scottish Two Day Pre-65 Trial 2012

Keith Wells

Results

The annual pilgrimage to the Highlands starts a little earlier for some - for the event simply known as "the pre-65". Western Centre runners David Eeles and Ian Wixon were riding for their 4th consecutive time, while Keith Wells was riding a third in a row

Peter Collins got a very late entry - as long as he rode his Ariel, not the Bantam - and Ben Falconer got an entry at last - thank you Edinburgh and District MCC.

How did they get on? Well David is still chasing the target of under the ton for 2 days, Keith lost his Best 250 rigid title to a quite stunning ride by Martyn Stanistreet, Peter finished with not much time to prepare, Ian Wixon got a finish, and Ben Falconer never enjoyed losing 167 so much - read more. No doubt they will all want to be back next year, along with many more.

I think the pictures below tell the story...
