Very Latest Update: The club have found a new date. More info on Hotnews page.

UPDATE: Both events cancelled after Saturday practice. Sadly the rain got the better of the club's enormous efforts to put on a spectacular weekend of racing. The car park was impassable for most vehicles and the reluctant decision was made by the club in the interests of the landowner. More details are on the club's Facebook page

Flyer Grass Track Entry List

Sparrington Farm is at Pencombe, HR7 4SL and he club has issued instructions for entry - please don't use the farmyard entrance as has been used in previous years:

"There is a new entrance to the venue for the weekend, PLEASE DO NOT GO THROUGH THE FARM YARD. Please follow the signage to the new entrance, making sure you follow the signs and stick to the areas as marked out.

There will be NO camping available track side. There is an allocated camping area big enough for all. Please remember we have no running water, so remember to bring your own weekend supply. BBQ's are permitted, (however, not the throw away versions on the ground) but please use with caution as crops are ready for harvesting and ground is dry following haymaking.

The gates will be open from 13:00hrs on Friday. Please DO NOT arrive prior to this and block the lanes. The gate will be closed on Friday at 22:00hrs at the land owners request due to them harvesting.Gate will reopen Saturday 07.00 hrs Closed again 22.00hrs This will be the same for Sunday.

Please drive carefully to the venue all neighbouring farms as well as our landowners are harvesting so there will be Combines and other large machinery on the lanes. All children are to be supervised at all times, and are not permitted to trespass into adjoining fields or woodlands. This is at our landowners request who are concerned over the safety of the children as they cannot see them when they are operating the large machinery. The farm also has numerous hidden deep ponds which pose danger to all.

We also ask that due to the large number of livestock in the adjoining field, that you always keep your dogs on leads and under control. The club will not be held responsible for any action taken by our landowners if your dog is found straying into adjoining fields and livestock.

Friday night there will be live coverage of the FIM Speedway GP on the Big screen and also Saturday evening for those that wish to watch. We are really looking forward to welcoming you all back to our popular venue at Sparrington Farm and hope you have a great weekend with us.It's definitely going to be one action packed weekend. We are finally going racing"
