Banbury Run 2013
Tom Welch completed the 'hard' route at the VMCC Banbury run on Sunday on his 1925 BSA, 50 years after his father completed it on the very same bike.
Hand controls for ignition, air and fuel (no twist grips then) and hand change gears...not to mention limited suspension and literally wooden brakes!
After 2 weeks of bike preperation there were still a few issues late saturday night, but the BSA made it round the 75 mile route with no problems but both Tom and the BSA were pretty tired at the end of the day.
