Observers Award

Without our observers there would simply be no trials. The Western Centre ACU recognises the commitment put in week in, week out with the Observers Award.

Brian Valder is the 2012 winner - just about the only time he's not observing, he's acting as a steward! Regardless of club, venue and weather, Brian's there. No mean rider in his day, his wise counsel and humour are very much appreciated by riders and organisers alike.

Rachel Clarke has won the 2008 Centre Observers championship prize of £50 by observing more Championship rounds than anyone else. It is always a pleasure to see Rachel's smiling face, and she is always a willing "volunteer". I am sure all the COC's, and riders, will join me in saying a big "Thank you".
